Neave is a silly interactive website with some awesome features! Click on FLASH EARTH and you can view virtual maps of the Earth from Yahoo Maps, Microsoft Virtual Maps, and more. Click on PLANETARIUM and search the stars. Click on BOUNCE, LIGHT, or DANDILION and watch the screen change according to the tone or volume of your voice in the microphone. Just go on and try it out, I promise it'll make you smile!!

Discovery Clipart


Discovery Education has a NUMBER of wonderful resources for teachers!! One particularly awesome resource is their free Educational Clip Art.

Browse through the list of Clip Art Categories to find hundreds of images related to education. Images are available in both color or black and white. Just select an image, right click, and copy or save. New images are always being added and they even have animated clip art!!!

Jing is a program that captures screen shots or videos on your computer and saves them for you! This program is FREE to download. What's awesome about Jing is that not ONLY can you capture pictures directly off your computer screen, but you can record a video of your actions on your computer such as your mouse moving OR your voice. Additionally, you can add emphases such as arrows, highlights, or boxes to your captures. Jing easily saves the captures as an image file on your computer OR you can share your captures instantly via email or hyperlink.

Kerpoof is a free website for students and teachers that is owned and operated by Walt Disney Company. There are a variety of uses for Kerpoof, including but not limited to drawing pictures, making movies, creating a story, designing an avatar, earning and trading coins in the creative shop, voting on other student creations, and more. There are dozens upon dozens of uses for this website in the classroom!

Teachers can sign up whole classrooms of students within Kerpoof, receive newsletters, work with other teachers on lesson plan ideas, collaborate with parents at home, and much, much more. Kerpoof is also fully web-based, so no software is required.
